​About the Artist:

Cathie Bleck is an internationally respected artist and author. Her artwork is very distinctive, where she showcases the positive/negative aspects of natural works in scratchboard and kaolin clay board.  Similar to woodblock printing, her forms are cut through inks and handmade pigments, revealing the white of the kaolin clay beneath. Cathie is a graduate of the University of Illinois (BFA, '78) and the Art Institute of Chicago ('81).
